Today is National Canadian Film Day. What a great opportunity on this rainy and cool day to enjoy one of Canada's cinematic treasures.
A great suggestion is one of Bruce McDonald's early movies, Roadkill. Don McKellar, who was brought in to write the screenplay, wrote a part for himself which launched his acting career. It takes place during the Easter season, so it takes on a number of interesting themes.
